Contacting the Author

[Contents] [Index] [Feedback]

Hi. You probably got to this page by clicking on one of the "email me" links in the tutorial, or by hitting one of the author links at the bottom of a page. Either way, it's a good bet that you are either looking for my home page, or would like to send me e-mail, either with feedback or a question. Before you do, though, please determine which of the following apply to you:

If you want to ask me a question, then you may do so, but the odds are high that I won't answer, or even acknowledge that the mail was received. This isn't really by choice. I get a lot of mail every day, and I've been falling further and further behind for the last few months. Since the tutorials are 'outside' projects, responding to related mail is the first thing to go. I'm sorry. I wish it could be otherwise.

If you have a request to re-use the tutorial, in whole or in part, as either a reprint or mirrored site, please see the Tutorial FAQ. If you're still interested, then write to me at my personal e-mail address. It may take me some time to respond to such requests, but I will eventually get to them.

If you are reporting an error, please e-mail me directly.

If you have general feedback, you can use the feedback form. This feedback is archived and eventually read, although once more, responses are highly unlikely.

If you have praises or criticisms that you want me to see without using the feedback form, feel free to send it to my e-mail address. Again, though, I'm not likely to respond.

If you're looking for my personal Web page in an attempt to learn more about me, go ahead. I don't mind.

In summation, I wish I could individually respond to everyone who writes to me. If my workload ever drops-- don't hold your breath-- then I'll think about responding. This is, unfortunately, the price of creating a popular site and branching out professionally. It happens.

If you're still intent on e-mailing me without using the feedback form, my e-mail address is given on my personal Web page.
